Belta Box is a new digital entertainment platform created by Ant & Dec and produced by Mitre Studios, designed for YouTube, social and the way audiences now choose to engage with entertainment.
It brings together original digital formats, Ant & Dec’s first-ever podcast Hanging Out With Ant & Dec, and a curated archive of iconic moments - all built for a social-first audience.
The partnership marks Viewture’s first backing of broadcast-led talent building a long-term, digital-first platform across YouTube and social.
For Viewture, this collaboration reflects a new chapter - working alongside established, traditionally broadcast-led talent as they expand into building YouTube and social platforms with long-term structure and intent behind them.
Viewture works alongside talent and production partners with growth capital and commercial backing in place from the outset, helping digital platforms launch and scale with creative freedom, IP ownership and long-term structure.
Dave Page, Founder & CEO at Viewture, said:
“Belta Box has all the ingredients of a modern franchise - iconic talent, a loyal audience, and real potential to scale. We’re proud to back Mitre Studios and Ant & Dec with the capital and commercial support to launch with momentum and build something that lasts.”
What makes this launch important is the wider shift it reflects.
More talent from TV, film and music are choosing to build directly on YouTube and social - not to replace traditional media, but to sit alongside it, giving them more control over creativity, audience relationships and the future of their IP.
Belta Box is an early example of that shift.
Jason Kingston-Brown, Head of Commercial at Viewture, added:
“Belta Box is a great example of the premium, talent-led IP we want to back - launched properly, then scaled across YouTube and digital with a clear commercial plan. This is just the beginning for Viewture, with a strong pipeline of conversations already underway with top-tier TV, film and music talent to bring more modern franchises to market.”
The platform is produced by Mitre Studios, with social and audience growth led by Jungle Creations.
For Viewture, Belta Box represents the start of a longer-term focus on helping established talent build and own meaningful digital platforms.
