It’s been a busy week for the Viewture team - hopping from one incredible event to the next! Here’s a quick rundown of where we’ve been, what we learned, and the conversations that have us excited about the future of creators, entertainment, and beyond.
Barclays Sport, Media & Entertainment Summit
Viewture was invited to have our CEO, Dave, join a panel discussing how we’re empowering the industry through our funding and creatortools.
One of the biggest takeaways from the summit? The worlds of sport and creator culture are officially colliding. Major sports brands are increasingly recognising the influence of creators and influencers to connect with audiences in authentic, dynamic ways. The way we consume sports content is evolving fast - fans now crave coverage that feels personal, real, and immediate, and creators are filling that gap. Traditional broadcasters are struggling to keep pace as creators sprint ahead with innovative, audience-first storytelling.
For Viewture, it’s an exciting sign of how the creator economy continues to expand into every corner of media.
bCreator Awards
Our first time attending the bCreator Awards and it made an impact! Formerly known as the Blogosphere Awards, the event was a true celebration of the incredible talent, creativity, and hard work that make this industry thrive. It’s inspiring to see just how far the creator community has come, and how many different paths to success now exist for creators of all kinds. The energy in the room was electric, and it reminded us exactly why we love being part of this ever-evolving space.
Deadline Contenders Awards
Another fantastic event - packed with visionary directors and industry powerhouses. It was amazing to see Wicked’s director Jon M. Chu and so many others pushing creative boundaries. This event was a reminder that Viewture isn’t just for traditional YouTube creators. We’re passionate about helping all kinds of creative businesses harness their potential, from filmmakers to production companies and beyond.
